I just noticed that I wasn't paid for Thanksgiving. They wouldn't bend the rules for holiday pay, even though they'd bent the rules for insurance and 401k (you're not supposed to get any benefits until you've worked for 3 months, but they started me with insurance and 401k immediately)

I could have used that extra bit of money. :-P

Oh well. Can't expect them to bend the rules for everything. Your company's policy on the 401(k) is better than mine: It took a year before I was eligible to join.
