Fog is coming in very heavy tonight. I live on the top of a hill, and when the fog comes in like this, the entire world disappears. There is nothing outside but a sea of black. And the fog swallows up sound, so it's not just black outside, but it's perfectly still.

It rather eerie when you wake up in the middle of the night, look outside, and the world is completely gone.
