Up on the moon, now, we don't have jive, so we came down to Earth to dance

I had this song on an old 45 single and have been trying for years to find a copy somewhere on the Internet.  It's rather obscure and I didn't have much luck but today I finally found it.

The Little Green Men by George Morgan

Interesting! I love tracking down songs, and getting results. I'm curious, though: I can't find what year the song was originally published, or on what album, and it didn't show up on any of the George Morgan information websites that I found. The closest I could get was that it was recorded in 1961:

23 January 1961 [14:30-17:30] Bradley Film & Recording Studio, 804 16th Ave. South, Nashville 3, TN – George Morgan (Hank Garland [gt], Harold Bradley [gt], Grady Martin [gt], Jerry Byrd [steel], Joseph Zinkan [bass], Buddy Harman [drums], Floyd Cramer [piano]. Producer: Don Law)
