It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I'm kinda thinking of taking up golf, but I'm going to try to do so on the cheap.  I picked up a $10 putter at Wal*Mart today, and I'm looking to buy a cheap driver, 5 iron, and sand wedge.  Maybe a fairway wood.  But they've got to be cheap.

The only balls Wal*Mart had that weren't $20 a box were a box of 6 yellow balls from Wilson...  Yellow because they've got Spongebob Squarepants on them.

Yeah, that'll look great on the golf course....

I recommend starting out with a 3 wood, they are lot easier to control the then a full on 1 wood. Find a driving range where you live, it's a lot better for practice then on the course since you don't have to worry about losing your balls.

I'll probably wait until after harvest (which should be any day now), then I'll be able to use the driveway as my driving range. If I hook or slice, it'll land in one of the freshly gleaned fields on either side.

Look at it this way, they'll be lots easier to track when you play golf in the snow. :D
