You can always file an amended return using form 1040X (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040x.pdf) (Instructions (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040x.pdf)). You'll also need to include form 8880 to claim the retirement contribution credit. You have 3 years from the date you originally filed to claim a refund.
