It's a bit slow, especially loading large pages. It's also a bit unwieldy trying to fill in forms and logins. It works with most web sites I've tried (LiveJournal, Weather Underground, Wikipedia, GameFAQS, The Register), but doesn't appear to work with my stock broker or bank (it does support HTTPS, though).
Apparently only the DS Lite version of the browser will be available in stores. The memory expansion pack it comes with won't fit in the original DS. You have to order the browser direct from Nintendo if you have the old, larger DS.
I don't really need the browser, but it will come in handy at those Wi-Fi spots that require a browser to log in before you can access the Internet (like Panera).
