I stopped patronizing the last store that did that. DVD Warehouse rented me the same scratched and unviewable DVD twice, after I'd returned it as defective twice, then put it back on the shelf again for a third lucky contestant.
It didn't help that when I asked for my money back, they refused, and I left, they were screaming obscenities at me.
