Avoid AVG 8!

captpackratI just "upgraded" from AVG 7.5 to 8.0. The moment I saw the low build number (90), I knew I made a mistake. Boy, was I right. Bug City!
The installer blue screened my machine the first time through, and only 4 hours after successfully completing the install one of AVG's modules crashed and reloaded. Then while doing a full system scan, it's found DOZENS of false positives. Glad I turned off automatic "healing".
If you use AVG, stick with 7.5 until they work the kinks out.
