captpackratTaikyoku Shogi is a variant of Shogi, or Japanese Chess. The board is 36 rows wide and 36 ranks long and each player starts with 402 pieces of 209 different types, each of which can have 1-3 different moves.
And here I was having a hard enough time keeping straight the 14 different pieces used in regular Shogi
