Snowhaven Ct. was in Merced, a small town in the middle of California's San Joaquin Valley. Snow is extremely rare in the Valley, although it's commonplace in the Sierra Nevada to the east. Merced is the Gateway to Yosemite. Which also gets lots of snow.
Honeybadger lives in Connecticut, which is a long ways away from California.
