This is soooo strange.   Usually San Diego has the worst gas prices in the nation.

I topped off my tank this morning at the Costco in Vista.   Premium (91 octane) unleaded, $2.929 a gallon.

Many other places are reporting $3 to $3.50 for regular gas.    Why do I keep feeling like $2.93 is a bargain?

Similar situation here. There are gas stations in NJ that are already over $3, but not in my area yet, even though I usually have the highest gas prices in the state. Not all gas stations raise prices at the same time.

I filled up for $2.58 the other day, most places around here are about $2.68
