here too when i went last week. they had a giant santa and his reindeer's in a giant snow glob of blowing fake snow. it was at the end of that room they pu the Halloween costumes in at this WalMart. and they had the thanksgiving decorations in there too hehe.
The local farm store was doing the same last weekend. They will shift all kinds of stuff we still need back into the warehouse or other obscure places in order to put up this huge shrine to commercial toymakers. It takes up at least a quarter of the entire store, and will be all covered up with drapes until the official "opening". That will be sometime around Halloween, but they start putting up the displays now. Hard to believe it takes that long.
