For 10 years I was a loyal customer of Sky High Comics in San Marcos. The owner knew me, and knew what kinds of comics I was interested in. I didn't have to request books, he knew what I wanted and would order new titles for me.
A few months ago, the owner sold the shop. The new owner doesn't even seem to be trying. I've gotten maybe 2 comics in the past 3 months, and it's been over a month since I've gotten anything. Not even an Usagi Yojimbo.
And so, after a decade, they've lost me as a customer.

The one I'm at now (Phoenix Comics) is very big and professional, but I just don't get the warm feeling of customer service a small shop provides.
