Acrylic socks are supposed to wick moisture away from your feet. So why are do my feet feel stickier and smellier when I'm wearing the acrylic rather than my old 100% cotton socks?
These acrylic socks are very thick and cushiony, and in the morning, they feel quite nice. But my heavy steel-toed boots don't breathe well, so by the end of the day, my feet feel hot and sticky.
Fortunately they were pretty cheap, I think it was like $5 for a dozen pairs at Costco.
What I'd like to see but never see them is a good, but really really cheap disposable socks. That could be taken to conventions or any other traveling and then used once and tossed away after there dirty. so I won't have to find the local laundry mat on trips on the road. Or take a lot of extra socks with me. Have you ever seen any disposable socks? that would be sorta neat. but they would have to be cheaper than a dollar a pair cause I can probably get men's white cotton tube real socks at Walmart for 6 pairs for 5 or 6 dollars :) but id have to bring the used dirty ones back home from the furcon cause if I buy real socks that aren't disposable I wouldn't feel right tossing them away :) hehe.
Re: I knew you liked bunnies so I thought I'd show you this I just saw.
