No difference really. I think it doesn't matter much at all to us early risers, except that we don't need the stupid daylight time thing anyway. Our approach would be "Hey if you want more daylight hours, don't sleep through them. Go to bed earlier and get up earlier."

The whole thing is purely political and stupid.

Uhm, no. You do not feel more tired because of Daylight Saving Time. You feel more tired because you're waking up in the morning at the alarm clock, rather than getting whatever amount of sleep your body needs per day. Sheesh.

I know jet lag. You do not get jet lag or any other problem sleeping because of a one-hour change. People just whine about Daylight Saving Time because it's easy to notice, whereas their own lousy sleep habits aren't so obvious.

If you're like most people and are stuck at a 9-5 type job, DST gives you an extra hour of after-work daylight. That's why so many people (including me) like it. I honestly wish they would just make DST year-round and do away with the time changes.

But if everyone rebelled and fixed the stupid 9-5 attitude, it wouldn't be an issue. It's called "flex time" and it worked real well back in the 90s. Somehow you let the Republicans take over and all the freedom goes down the drain again... ;p

Its an interesting experience when you don't shift and everyone else does around you.

TV programs schedules are shifted. Good and bad situation. Some things are on at better times, others worse. Pain in the ass to remember the first week or so though.

Talking with people subject to same problems. Its easier now to talk to people on the west coast, and harder out east.

No worries about changing clocks around.

No being tired when the change goes in.

And the change or lack thereof doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference in my life, other than the above points.
