Power just went off for the whole neighborhood. Fortunately my laptop is fully charged and my networking equipment and cable modem have thier own UPS. So I'm set for a little while. No clue how long this outage is going to last.

The power supply for the server is failing, and it's hibernating automatically. I shut down the weather station server to conserve power for the switch. The cable modem should have a couple hours worth of juice, since it's got a fairly sizable power supply and it's only running the modem, router and a switch. My laptop has enough juice for an hour and a half.

Hopefully this ends soon, this has been the longest power outage here in many years.
