Just testing the "Internet Channel" (Opera web browser) on the Wii. I hooked up a keyboard to the Wii to see if it works and makes it easier to type stuff in.
This would have taken forever to type just pointing at the on-screen keyboard.
It still uses the pop-up window and still displays the on-screen keyboard. The "enter" key only inserts a carriage return, it doesn't allow you to close the text entry window; you still have to point and click OK with the Wiimote.
Now that I have a keyboard, this thing could be quite useful with Gmail and Google's various Office-like web apps.
