Mixed up cross overs

On today's episode of Emergency!, the crew is watching an episode of Adam-12 on TV.

Yet there was a cross-over episode of Adam-12 which guest starred the firefighters and doctors from Emergency!, so the two shows occur in the same "universe".

What's even funnier is that I recognize the episode they are watching.  It came on the same channel just a week or two ago.

Also Adam-12 made a guest appearance in the premier of Emergency. Mike and I love Emergency and like Adam-12. Just never get to see Adam-12 any more.

Adam-12, Dragnet and Emergency! all air on RTV (Retro Television Network). There are 5 RTV affiliates in Georgia, WSB (2.2), WJBF (6.2), WRBL (3.2), WSAV (3.2) and WPGA (58.1).

Unfortunately none of those networks are carried by DirecTV in the Atlanta area. Regular WSB; yes. Retro TV; no.

Heh. You beat me to mentioning Reed and Malloy being in the first episode of Emergency.

I can't recall any Dragnet tie-ins to either Adam 12 or Emergency. I think Dragnet was over with before Emergency came out, though.

I think Reed and Malloy appeared on Dragnet, but more of a cameo rather than full guest appearance.

That episode just came on today. Friday and Gannon got a call to a bank robbery and when they arrived, Reed and Malloy were interviewing witnesses.
