I ran my PDA down to 20% battery before I turned it off. Now it won't turn on. It'll be 90 minutes before I can get home to plug it in. The backup battery is only designed to last 30 minutes. I hope everything will still be there when I get home.

I really need to buy another charger for this thing.

I'm guessing that they still don't provide specs for battery life of PDA's based on hours of continuous usage. It has always been given as a certain number of days/weeks of "occasional use", which is a useless number because everyone uses their PDA a different fraction of the time.

I managed to drain it down to 20% by getting stuck in a booooooring meeting at work and using the wireless network to connect to FurryMUCK and browse VCL for 90 minutes. ;)

The PDA automatically shut down the wireless just as the meeting finished.

I can buy a double-capacity battery for $50, but it makes the PDA nearly a half-inch thicker. Or I could buy one of those 3-in-1 AC/car/USB chargers for $40, and hope I don't get stuck in a meeting for 91 minutes.
