Supermarket Blues

I always feel terribly depressed whenever I go to the supermarket.

I used to go grocery shopping with my grandmother all the time, then when she couldn't do the shopping any more, I used to go with my grandfather.  With him gone now, and my SO so far away, I'm all alone, and the grocery store just serves to emphasise this.

 

Nothing like buying Soup for One and TV Dinners to remind you that you don't have anyone to cook for.

Thats shutty, i love cooking for others. I dont know if you have a Safeway in your area but the ones here will deliver orders over $50

animale was living with/near you for a while?

Animale is my Significant Other. He lived relatively nearby and I used to spend weekends with him. After my grandfather passed away and my grandmother moved into a nursing home, he moved in with me for a couple months.

Then last October he left for the Midwest for a very extended work trip. I was hoping he'd be back before Christmas, but his work doesn't seem to be progressing anywhere; he's no closer to finishing than when he started.
