Several months ago I bought a large box of Oreos at Costco. The box had 10 individual packets of 10 cookies, and cost about $5. Unfortunately, in this particular box, 3 of the packets weren't sealed properly, so the cookies in them ended up all nasty and stale. The other 70 cookies were just fine. I called the 800 number on the box to complain, they took my information down, and a week later, Nabisco sent me a check for the price of the entire box! Yay! 70 free Oreos!

A couple days ago, I ordered a fish sandwich from Jack In The Box, and when I opened the wrapper, found that the sandwhich had no condiments. No mayo, no tartar sauce, nothing. Bleah. I filled out the feedback form on the JitB web site, and this morning, I found two $1 gift certificates in my mailbox! Wow!

I've found that if you complain to any food company that they will either refund your money or give you a coupon for a free product. I tried some of this soy milk for the first time and it had a funny taste to it, I sent in an email and a week later got a coupon for a free large bottle of the stuff. The chocolate soy milk was much better ^^
