Snow. Real snow!
Dec. 31st, 2006 12:53 pmThe last day of the year saw the first real snowfall of the season. It doesn't appear to be very deep yet, though it is forming drifts around objects like the house.
Being a native Californian, and my hometown having only seen snow once in the past 50 years, I am learning a few things about the weather. Like, if you try to make a snowball using your bare hands, your fingers will get DAMN cold, DAMN fast. And falling snow can really sting when it gets in your eyes.
Here's some pictures of the snow so far. It's still coming down, so it'll probably be deeper later on tonight. I'll try to take more pictures.
