Sliding into the ocean!
Jun. 16th, 2005 01:58 pm5.3 (preliminary) 5 clicks NE from Yucaipa, CA.
I felt it here, though it was just a quick "Was that an earthquake?" sort of jolt.
This quake appears to be on the San Bernardino branch of the San Andreas Fault Zone. Ooof.
This is the 3rd large quake to hit the state in the past week. A 5.2 near Anza on the 12th, a 7.0 off the coast of Crescent City on the 14th, and now this one. Every 2 days. Strange....

Jun. 12th, 2005 09:01 amJolted awake this morning. Magnitude 5.6 (preliminary) near Anza, CA, less than 50 miles away. It was a very short event; I wasn't even sure it had been an earthquake until I turned on the radio.
