These prices are a joke, right?
Sep. 20th, 2008 04:10 pmI was in "Best" Buy today, and noticed the prices on a couple items. For a Geek Squad brand 8G USB drive, they wanted $80. I just paid $20 for a Sandisk 8G drive at Costco (although that was on sale, but the regular price is still just $30). And for a 2 Gig PC-5300 DDR2 SODIMM memory module, they were asking $190; the street price is normally $40.
Do they really think their customers are THAT stupid? Or ARE their customers really that stupid?

Date: 2008-09-20 09:31 pm (UTC)Some of their store brands are pathetic. Dynex 400W power supplies can't reliably do 200W, and they used to charge $100 for them.
And then there are cable prices...
